In case you did not know, for the remainder of the school year, all meals served through our school lunch program are FREE. This includes BOTH lunch and breakfast. ALL students in Weber School District 18 years of age and younger are eligible for free breakfast and free lunch. This includes, those participating with in-person school, school from home or online school. Check in: Students should not arrive at school before 8:30am. Students on the school grounds before 8:30 a.m. or after 3:40 p.m. should be accompanied by a parent or be under the supervision of a teacher or staff member. Students arriving after 8:50 a.m. need to check in at the office with a parent before proceeding to class. Check out: For your child's safety, students will not be released to anyone except custodial parents, guardians, or persons listed on the emergency card unless prior arrangements have been made with the office. Students should never leave campus during school hours without checking out at the office. Teachers are instructed not to release students to parents from their classes unless notified by the office. If students must leave school early, parents must check them out through the office. Learning time is valuable. Please arrange for your children to complete the entire day. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. At Valley we value learning time. In an effort to not disrupt this process, if you desire to visit with a teacher, please call before school (8:00 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.), after school (3:35 p.m. to 4 p.m.), or leave a message during the day to schedule an appointment. Students will not be called out of class to the phone, except in emergency situations. However, messages will be delivered to students. Applications for free or reduced lunch are available in the School's office. Applications must be completed and submitted to Weber School District Office.Due to the current health restrictions, parents who desire to eat with their students will need to do so outside in the front or off of school property. Your students will come and meet you out front. You can call ahead to let us know you will be coming. Parents who plan on eating lunch with their students should notify the cafeteria (801-452-4188) before 9:30 a.m. on the day you are planning to eat with your student. Adult lunch is $3.50 Breakfast Cost: $1.25 for students ($0.30 for those qualifying for reduced meal pricing) and $2.25 for adults. Student Lunches...You may pay for school lunch and check lunch balances on the My School Fees Under the Parents and Students tab on the school website. $1.85 per day ($0.40 per day for those qualifying for reduced meal pricing). To make sure that the proper account is credited, when sending money for lunch please write your student's and teacher's name on the check, or if you are sending cash, on the outside of an envelope. Cost for an extra milk is $0.50. Parents are responsible to notify teachers, secretaries, school nurse, and other personnel as deemed necessary of any food allergies. |
